Michelle grew up locally and studied nursing at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Having worked on a remote Aboriginal community, she developed a passion for Emergency Nursing.
She worked in Melbourne and then the USA for 10 years in Accident & Emergency.

After starting work in the treatment room, here at BSMC, she studied Asthma Education and Smoking Cessation and now runs the Respiratory Clinic.

Michelle cares for all age groups regarding their lung health. She writes care plans, performs lung functions, and offers advice and counselling regarding smoking cessation and respiratory health.
In her spare time Michelle gardens, rides horses/ bikes and is an avid reader.

Dr Robyn Maddern (PhD) is a Clinical Psychologist who lives in the Macedon Ranges after 25 years of Psychology practice in Sydney.

Robyn specialises in:

  • Mood Disorders (Anxiety and Depression)
  • Personality Disorders (Diagnosis and Treatment)
  • Grief, Trauma and Complex Trauma
  • Interpersonal Relationship Difficulties
  • Support for those with neurodiverse partners

Wendy was raised, educated and lived in the Macedon Ranges area most of her life and has done the same for her two children. She has been a Diabetes Educator since 2002 and thoroughly enjoys working in this area of health. Through this position, she has developed a strong interest in kidney health and aged care.

Other interests include providing diabetes education in aged care facilities to people living there and to staff caring for them.

Much can be done in this area of health care as it has people with diverse and complex needs and Wendy enjoys the challenge.

Kelly completed a Bachelor of Science degree in 2000 at Monash University and went on to attain a Master's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at Deakin University in Melbourne in 2003. Since then, she has worked in the hospital, aged care, research and private practice settings.

Kelly uses a patient-centred approach to nutrition care which focuses on the individual and the holistic nature of a person's health, not only on one or two measurable parameters. Kelly’s interest areas are women’s health and gut health, with experience in the dietary management of IBS.

Growing up in Ballarat, Cathy was always keen to work in a regional community and the chilly Woodend climate certainly feels like home. After graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Melbourne University, Cathy worked in several different physiotherapy practices before deciding Brooke Street was the right fit.

Cathy loves working within our dynamic team to help you achieve your goals. She has focused her interests on understanding the biomechanics and cause of your injury. Her passion lies in shoulders and hips, though she loves the varied nature of the Brooke Street clientele. You will often see her in the treatment room or our Fit in Life gym.

Outside work Cathy plays tennis, swims and goes to the gym. She is a coffee fanatic and ice-cream connoisseur.

After graduating with a Masters of Physiotherapy practice from La Trobe University, Bendigo Mikhaila has joined the team at Brooke Street Medical Centre. Growing up in Bendigo, she has always wanted to work in a regional community.

Being an active netballer, Mikhaila has always been passionate about health and fascinated with the injury rehabilitation process. After many injuries and visits to physiotherapists herself, Mikhaila decided that physiotherapy would be the right career fit for her.

Mikhaila’s passion lies in sports injuries and helping athletes through their injury journey. From the rehabilitation process, to return to sport and further injury prevention, though she loves to work with clients of all ages and varying presentations.

Outside of work Mikhaila plays netball, goes on walks with friends and goes to the gym. She loves a good homemade smoothie and restaurant meal.

Kelly is a registered psychologist and an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society. Kelly is a warm, empathic and flexible professional who is dedicated to working with clients in a meaningful way. She has experience working with a range of personal, interpersonal and clinical issues, such as anxiety and depressive disorders, sleep issues, substance abuse and family violence, as well as experience with cognitive assessments. Kelly utilises a primarily cognitive behaviour therapy framework and draws on client-centred, strength-based and acceptance and commitment therapy principles to help clients facilitate change and lead more fulfilling lives.

Outside of work, Kelly is an avid gardener, who loves baking, getting outdoors and travelling.

Bianca is a registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
She values working with clients regarding many different issues, with all age groups, and with clients from a range of different cultural backgrounds. Bianca believes in a holistic approach to psychology and counselling for a wide range of personal, interpersonal, developmental, and clinical issues.

She draws primarily on psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural therapy, using concepts of self -awareness and acceptance, personal empowerment, and personal meaning in life.

Outside work Bianca enjoys travelling to beautiful locations to be amongst nature. She also loves cooking up a storm, sometimes with ingredients from her own garden.

Bianca is currently on maternity leave, so will not be taking patients at this time.
