Would you like to join Brooke Street Medical Centre? We'd love to chat!

Brooke Street Medical Centre is located central to the beautiful Macedon Ranges in Woodend, Victoria. Only 64km from Melbourne, Woodend is a quiet town with community spirit and plenty of attractions. The clinic is within close proximity to essential amenities, including supermarkets, cafes, public transport, parks and outdoor activities.

Mainly occupied by families with young children and retirees, Woodend provides a welcoming country escape close to Melbourne. There is ample on-street parking and access to nearby pathology, radiology, podiatry, audiology, cardiology and optometry services.

The doctors practising at Brooke Street Medical Centre and our registered nurses treat all common medical conditions and health issues for the general population, tourists and overseas visitors. The fully functional treatment room allows for minor emergencies and additional care for patients. A qualified Travel Health Nurse is on-site to support the doctors. The doctors have significant experience in a range of services including general practice health, women's health, and children's health.

Brooke Street Medical Centre is supported by an extensive team of Allied Health professionals, including physiotherapy, psychology, exercise physiology, diabetes education and respiratory nurses.

The on-site Fit in Life gym offers rehabilitation and general health support to patients with tailored programs and group sessions.

Brooke Street Medical Centre is part of the Better Medical Group; a doctor-led owner and operator of high-quality general practices across Australia.

We proudly offer high-quality management services and facilities for doctors and passionately believe that primary care needs to be locally focused. That is why our group of practices are locally managed, regionally connected, and centrally supported. Our ethos is simple – to support doctors to provide high-quality care to their patients and local communities.

We support some of Australia’s best GPs, and we pride ourselves on:

  • Ensuring the right cultural fit for both the GP and the practice;
  • Centralised expertise, including IT, marketing, human resources, and payroll;
  • The delivery of excellence in clinical care, underpinned by clinician support of our Clinical Advisory Board;
  • Great earning potential for doctors with competitive market rates;
  • Enabling doctors to manage and maintain flexible working schedules and promoting independence;
  • Providing opportunities for professional development, including the development of specialist skills;
  • Our commitment to technological innovation in primary care; and
  • Focussing on our people to make sure we’re looking after them.
